Now we offer a complement to our e-education Bolånelicensen, which is based on SwedSec’s knowledge requirements for mortgage loan officers.

The test is for those who are covered by the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority’s requirements for mortgage loan officers. You should have completed our training, or similar training, prior to the test.

In total, the test consists of 110 questions that measure your knowledge in the area. When you are done, you can print out a certificate that shows that you have completed the test with approved results.

In close cooperation with the industry, we developed Bolånelicensen, preparatory training for SwedSec’s mandatory licensing test. In order to meet the diverse target group’s varying needs, we developed a flexible solution, which was based on the participants’ prior knowledge.

Our challenge

The target group for the training was extensive; just over 12,000 mortgage advisers who in a short time would live up to SwedSec’s new knowledge requirements. The requirements included three complex and extensive subject areas, where there were no established courses and course literature.

Our solution

We decided to develop a program with three customised sub-courses that were entirely based on the participants’ prior knowledge. During the development, we took the help of subject matter experts and the final result was eight hours of web-based education and a database of over 300 test questions.

Our strengths

Together with the three major banks, we created a comprehensive training material that is unique; nowhere else in the market is such a large material gathered about housing loans. The actual study time per participant is optimised because each person receives an individual study plan based on their prior knowledge. Participants who fail at the final test will receive a new individual study plan.

Svenska Försäkringsförmedlares Förening (SFM) is the industry organisation for insurance distributors and together with them, we built up and operate InsureED. InsureED serves as a training portal for all SFM members and the idea is that InsureEd will eventually develop and act as a knowledge hub for the entire industry. In the portal, we set up test preparation courses for Insuresec’s licensing tests.

Our challenge

Insurance distributors must act correctly, professionally and with the customer’s best interests in mind. To contribute to this, InsureSec provides licensing tests for insurance distributors. SFM saw a need for a competence platform with test preparation courses for InsureSec’s licensing tests, and together with Learnify the solution was developed – InsureEd.

Our solution

In close cooperation with the industry, we developed the training portal InsureEd. Here we set up test preparation courses for Insuresec’s licensing tests. Here you will also find the annual knowledge updates that are required to keep the entire brokerage team updated and licensed.

Our strengths

To keep our educations current and relevant, we closely collaborate with experts from the industry and the material in the InsureEd portal is highly appreciated by our customers and has become the industry standard. We are also working on developing more courses aimed at the entire insurance industry.

In September 2016, we started a training project together with Swedbank to update their advisors in record speed before SwedSec’s licensing test. In the first step, there were 160 telephone advisers and other advisory staff with licensing requirements. The webinar solution was highly appreciated by the participants.

The goal of the initiative was for the majority of employees to cope with SwedSec’s licensing test at the first attempt. In order to meet Swedbank’s needs, we needed to find an efficient solution that could quickly be launched. At the same time, there was a need for individual support for each participant.

Our solution

In order to streamline the learning and shorten the training period, we used tailor-made, teacher-led webinars. We also identified the help that each individual employee needed then offered individual teacher support. The participants also get access to a comprehensive self-study material.

Our strengths

The advisors at Swedbank really appreciated the concept, which was also noticeable on the outcome; most of them managed to pass the licensing test on the first attempt.
